Disney Costumes For Couples, Friends and Families
Disney has a knack for making any character they animate, their own, For instance, Cinderella originally wore three different dresses to three different balls, each more lavish than the next, yet most people will picture only one dress as Cinderella; the Disney animated version. The Disney version is universally recognizable by children and adults alike. Likewise are other Disney characters outfits very recognizable.
There are many Disney costumes available on-line at extremely low prices. I've put together a list of couples costumes which may be fun for a duo to wear.
From the Disney movie Shrek, the costumes for Shrek and Fiona are available. Usually they come with a mask, however, since the clothing for Shrek is recognizable it may be possible to wear only green coloring on the face.
Snow White and her Prince - Generally accepted as Prince Charming, the actual prince name was never revealed in the movie, his costume of a white shirt and blue tabard will do nicely. Her dress is made available in many styles (including sexy styles).
Cinderella and Prince Charming - There are many retailers which sell both sets of this costume and the prince's costume is very specific in the movie. More like a military uniform.
Peter Pan and Wendy- A simple blue nightgown will suffice for Wendy. For Peter you can use a green t-shirt and tights (cut the bottom of the t-shirt into ragged ends). To mix it up and be a little funnier costume, you can change roles (girl as Peter, boy as Wendy).
While Disney has some fantastic costumes for couples, there are even more choices form the animated movies than the main characters. The villains from each of the movies are sometimes more memorable than supporting characters. Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty is a magnificent depiction of a with in her glorious black pointed costume. Ursula from The Little Mermaid is another great costume for women. For men, there is Jaffar from Aladdin and how fun is Prince John from Robin Hood? Support the wearers of the Peter Pan and Wendy costume by dressing up as Captain Hook.
There are a multitude of supporting characters in every movie which will never be forgotten. From Shrek, for instance, there is : Puss in Boots, Donkey or a number of the Fairy Tale characters. Who could forget Dopey from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Or the Genie from Aladdin? Another great option is King Triton from the Little Mermaid.
